The server will still run in the background because the service will run even if the interface does not show. Click on the Startup tab and right-click on FileZilla Server Admin. This will open a FileZilla server options window, select SSL/TLS. Right click on the taskbar and select Task Manager. Open FileZilla Server Options and select Edit, then Settings. You can hide the administration panel from showing every time you start the computer. FileZilla Server is the server component of FileZilla that runs on the server and allows clients to connect and transfer files. You should now connect to the server if everything is setup correctly. FileZilla is a free, open-source FTP client and server software that allows users to transfer files between computers over the internet. Click on OK Click “Always trust this certificate in future sessions” and click on OK. Note the IPv4 address You can now connect to the server using the IPv4 address and the username and password you created. Click on Properties on your network interface. Open Windows settings (WIN+I) and click on Network & Internet. Click on Next Click on Next Click on Next Enter a name for the rule and click on Finish. In Native path paste the path to the folder you created. Select “Require a password to login” and enter a password for the user. Start the installation Click on Next Disable desktop icons and click on Next Click on Next Click on Next Click on Next Click on Yes Click on Install Click on OK Click on Ceonnect to FileZilla FTP Server Check “Automatically connect to this server at startup” and click on OK Click on Yes Click on Server -and then Configure Click on Users Click on Add and type a name for the user you want to use to connect to the server. In other words, all devices that have access to your local network will also have access to the FTP server as long as they have the credentials. This guide will only show you how to open an FTP server for your home/local network. Note that this guide does not show how to open the server publically to the internet. This is great for devices that support FTP, for instance, digital cameras or mobile phones. You can set up a local installation of an FTP server in order to transfer media to and from a folder on your computer.
